Join Kate Thuss for an in-depth look at how your posture impacts your physical practice.

In this workshop we’ll explore the physical anatomy of your spine and pelvis, plus how your diaphragm, the main muscle of breathing, works and is impacted by your posture. We’ll take some time to focus on Yogic anatomy, where we’ll learn about the Nadis, how they correlate to the spine, and the roll they play in a traditional asana practice. Then, with all that new knowledge, you’ll get a chance to explore your own posture in a unique way, giving you the opportunity to feel what it’s like to actually sit up straight and tall, plus a chance to play around in a few familiar postures.

This workshop is great for all familiarity levels, from beginners to long time practitioners alike. Please wear comfortable clothing and come with an open mind!
