On and Off the Mat

Whether you're standing on one foot or juggling a busy schedule, balance can be a big challenge. In this workshop, we'll explore how our yoga practice can help balance energy, breath, and body. Topics will include specific pranayama (breath) techniques, stretches to improve foot and ankle mobility, and tips to build strength in standing poses. We will also discuss how these physical elements of balance can also apply to finding balance in our daily lives. 

Props will be provided. If you prefer to bring your own, we will use two blocks, a tennis or lacrosse ball, a yoga strap, and a yoga mat.
